Lakewood Country Club

Located just 18 km. from Bangkok at the Eastern outskirts, the most rapid

developing area. Lakewood Country Club is the Largest green area composing

of spacious 27 holes golf course and housing estate of luxurious living.

Fantastic course with 3 contrasting 9 hole layouts named 'Lake', 'Wood' and 'Rock' with a choice of 4 tee boxes. Always in top condition. Good golfing can be assured and some of the par 3's are really excellent golf holes that rival the best. The relatively flat terrain is enhanced by a profusion of flowers and shrubs; water features on almost every hole.

The club house was designed by the 5 - star hotel designer, fully equipped with luxury facilities in the spacious 4-storey building for relaxation after playing golf.

A short drive from Bangkok's thriving metropolis, Lam Lukka sets the stage for a golf experience not easily forgotten. Both courses meander through Bangkok's wetlands, where over 10,000 trees and water ways provide homes to over 100 species of birds and wildlife.

The Championship East Course places a premium on driving the ball long and straight. Host of the 2002 Thailand PGA Championship, Lam Luk Ka's East Course will punish errant golf shots, but make for an enjoyable round if played from the somewhat friendlier white tees. The back nine is considered one of the best in Thailand, ending with a dramatic risk-reward Par 5. Lam Luk Ka's Championship East Course remains one of Thailand's most challenging layouts.

The West Course is relatively short, but water comes into play on 15 holes making course management a key factor in scoring. Every hole provides several options, so longer hitters can still hit driver although it's not necessary on most holes. The West Course is a favourite of tourists and recreational golfers, and is home to a plethora of native birds and wildlife.

Suwan Golf & Country Club

Suwan Golf and Country Club is a new course is just less than an hour drive from Bangkok. Surrounding fruit orchards and rice fields along with the golf course’s hilly and challenging layout makes every hole have its own unique character. More than most other Thailand golf courses there are many holes with significant elevation changes where level fairways play up to built up and well guarded greens.

Several holes require long and straight tee shots when played from the back tees so as to take the strategically placed fairway hazards out of play. The tips play at over 7100 yards! Water or OB comes come in to play on most holes, putting shot making accuracy at a premium.Holes number 2 and 14 are among the more challenging, the former being a double dog leg par 5 and the later being a long par 4 with water running down the right side. Careful shot planning is required to make par on both of these holes and only repeated playing will give the golfer the correct club selection knowledge required. Hole 17 is the signature hotel with a well bunkered green surrounded on three sides by large lily ponds. This challenging hole exemplifies Thailand golfing at its greatest.

Imported Paspalum grass is used in fairways while the greens are constructed of Sea Isle turf from the USA. Putting surfaces are among the best in Bangkok, even rivaling the lightning fast speeds found at championship courses like Alpine or Thai CC.Suwan Golf and Country Club is one of Bangkok’s best golf courses. The club is a must play as part of any Bangkok golf vacation and playing now is even better as the course has yet to be discovered and the green fees are relatively low.
