It takes about 45 minutes to reach the golf course from Pattaya. Like so many of the other courses in the area it catches strong breezes so player have to plan their shots. The course have a numerous of bunkers and water hazards that surrounds the greens and fairways. And, while offering exciting golf, these courses also provide the most spectacular and serene mountain vistas and climate.

Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course is the first privately owned golf club in Thailand, founded by the late Dr. Thaworn Phornprapha. His vision and passion was to see Thailand with a golf course that will proudly stand among the international standards. In its 38 year history, since the beginning of its construction in September 1969, this golf course has reserved Thailand as host to many golfing events such as the Thailand Open 4 times, many Asian Golf Circuits and the latest a world class tournament “Honda LPGA Thailand 2007. Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course was designed by I.Izumi and has just been completely renovated by Schmidt Curley Design Inc. Some of the trees were removed allowing for an excellent breeze. A popular grass, Seashore Paspalum, was chosen for the fairways, and Novotek for the greens. In addition, the 101 bunkers are there for beauty and challengers for all golfers alike. The well designed renovated clubhouse blends in completely with the golf course. The locker rooms on the ground floor restaurant houses both air condition and large outdoor areas with a relaxing atmosphere and exceptional service.
